Float Therapy. R.E.S.T. (Reduced Environmental Stimulus Therapy). Sensory Deprivation.

Our beautifully designed and spacious pods are filled with about 11 inches of water that is heated to skin temperature and filled with 1,000 pounds of medical grade Epsom salt (Magnesium Sulfate) provide you with a near zero gravity experience to guests of all body types....no swimming talents required! The silky-smooth solution of water and Epsom salt create a solution even more dense than The Dead Sea that will fully support your body on the surface of the water with absolutely no effort on your part. Combined with reducing sensory stimuli of light, sound, and weight this unique experience enables your brain to focus less on processing outside information and allows itself to move into the elusive Theta State where you are conscious of your surroundings yet your body is in deep relaxation much more rapidly than normal and with greater ease. The Theta Brain Wave falls in the optimal range for visualization, mind programming and super learning as well as achieving a deep spiritual connection with The Universe. Overall, the general response from our floating guests is they feel extremely relaxed and have a profound sense of calm and well-being after floating and those feelings often last several days up to a couple of weeks. The benefits of floating are cumulative, so the more regularly you float the benefits will be greater and last longer. Floating is a practice. Often the first float is a more an acclimation experience, it’s a new experience in a new place so it takes some getting used to. We strongly recommend committing to 3 floats within about 3-6 weeks to achieve the bliss you’ve heard about not that you may not get benefit from your first float, you absolutely will, however the benefits are cumulative and last longer with consistent use. The second time you come to visit you know what to expect and that you’re safe and supported so it’s much easier and quick to achieve the state we’re looking for and then…. the third time is often the charm!

How Do I Best Prepare For My Float Experience?

  • Please read our Policy Page prior to booking your float.

  • First and foremost, have an open mind and a positive attitude. Mindset is EVERYTHING. Arrive with time to spare, we offer a complimentary cup of pre-float tea to relax you into your float and we strongly recommend experiencing even if you’re a seasoned floater. Running late leads to unnecessary anxiety, the last thing you want is to feel rushed into your float. Keep in mind as well we do work on a tight schedule and most often cannot accommodate late arrivals.

  • Make sure you have not had a recent spray tan, hair color and please, understand we cannot float vibrant hair colors regardless of length of time they have been applied.

  • Do not eat for about 90 minutes prior to your appointment and avoid caffeine or any other stimulants.

  • Do not shave or wax prior to your appointment.

  • Do not float if you have had a recent ablative or exfoliating service such as laser treatments or chemical peels as well as tattoo work within the last 4 weeks.

  • Take a good, THOROUGH SHOWER, that includes washing your hair, just think “head, shoulders, knees and toes….and all things in between!)  prior to your float….it is required and failure to shower will result in your float promptly ending.  The pre-float shower is a beautiful opportunity to set your intentions for your float and wash away the outside world as well as detergents, chemicals and oils that don’t belong in our solution.
